Occupying a full city block, the Arts Commons Transformation (ACT) project represents a deep and collaborative commitment to Calgary’s arts and cultural district. It is intended to include the renovation and transformation of three historically popular venues and the addition of a new 1,200-seat proscenium theatre and a 250-seat theatre.

Arts Commons will anchor the new civic precinct that will involve the redevelopment of the city’s Olympic Plaza and will provide a significant increase in capacity to meet both growing demand and community aspirations.
